Welcome to the Esperanto 125 website by AEA (Australian Esperanto Association).

As you have probably already heard, on 26th July 1887 the first book on Esperanto was given freely to the whole wide world. At that time Dr. Zamenhof, its creator, asked his readers to sign an agreement that they would learn Esperanto if 1,000,000 other people around the world also agreed to learn it. Now there are over that number of Esperanto speakers in over 100 countries worldwide.

Our promise to you is: if you do no less than 15 mins of online study of Esperanto each day from 23rd March until 26th July, you will be speaking this amazing language by 26th July 2012, Esperanto Day.

To start accessing resources and links for learning Esperanto in 125, please click "Learn Esperanto in 125 days" above under "Available Courses". We will be using this site to communicate with participants of the course, but lessons will be found at http://lernu.net.

If at any time you have a question, please feel free to contact me, Crystal, at esperanto125.au@gmail.com.

Bonŝancon! Malgraŭ tio, ke vi ne bezonos ĝin. ;)
(Good luck! Even though you won't be needing it. ;))
